    On Greenpeace ratings.

Green Party of England & Wales - 38
      Labour - 32
      LibDems - 30
      SNP - 28
      Plaid Cymru - 26
      Conservatives - 15
      Brexit - 2
DUP 'Ash for cash' - minus 38

No parties from Northern Ireland so last entry made up.
Obviously SNP could raise their rating a bit higher with rail electrification north and cancelling the A9 dualling. At same time they may find they lose votes in the car orientated Highlands.

The battle against seagulls in south Edinburgh is stepping up a few notches:

Everyone who says they would launch a nuclear attack should be asked if they would personally blowtorch a baby's face and if not why not. Babies' faces are inevitably carbonised in any nuclear attack on a city.

The UK's position is that it would only ever launch a retaliatory strike.

If it ever does launch, we'll all already be dead, probably before our missiles have left the water.

In those circumstances I say f*#k em.

In the ensuing nuclear winter, feral seagulls will pick at Nick Cook's irradiated bones for morsels of decaying flesh.

The second set of questions about how tall you are were funnier. I like dancing.

The feedback was a little odd. If i did not know better i would think i scored quite high for secondary psychopathy. But in fact i am in the average range for secondary non-psychopathy

1.2, and 1.3, I was worried when I saw the 2 military questions, and I did confess to burning paper with a magnifying glass.

We could just sit back and do nothing, Russia sends over nuclear capable bombers more or less on a weekly basis, we could just save the fuel the Typhoons use, not bother to have armed ones on standby. To be fair it's quite inconvenient, apparently they broke a few windows and made a loud bang yesterday.

Independance apparantly more important than anti-Semitism...

"“That turned out not to be the case, and since it became clear that Neale was running as a pro independence, independent candidate, who still has a very strong support, we have come to the conclusion that he has the best chance of winning the seat, and keeping Lesley laird and Kathleen Leslie out"

Is there a party standing on an anti-Semitic manifesto commitment?

"Is there a party standing on an anti-Semitic manifesto commitment?"

Splitting my sides, serriously though, are you actually suggesting the candidate who was quickly, and appropriately suspended by the SNP over anti-Semitic comments is the right candidate to be leading the independance charge for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath?...

I have no knowledge of Kirkaldy or Cowdenbeath. I'm aware of two parties proposing Scottish self-government, but I'm unaware of a party proposing anti-Semitism. Is there one?

I didn't suggest there was one in my original post, hope that clears things up for you.

Go and read the articles and form your own opinion...

    STV Scottidh Leaders debate.

Willie Rennie questioning Jackson Carlaw was top entertainment.

    On now.

Jackson Carlaw plea to unite behind BJ and lend a vote to keep UK together ('cause it's bad enough that N Ireland will be semi-detached?)
Position is clear that he is now committed to leaving EU as fast as possible.
So if you are a Conservative remainer you should vote for Jo Swinson now I suppose? He admits that he has changed his mind on EU. He also has decided that B Johnson should not be judged on his racist writings. Now he is PM he should be judged on his actions. Election hopefuls that say similar things should not of course be allowed to stand. BJ published his comments and didn't hide them so is 'honestly' racist. Willie Rennie focused on this weakness but I've expanded the 'logic'.
Green matters were not discussed and Scottish Greens not asked to this debate. SNP's 'anti-workers' Work Place Parking Levy was used by Richard Leonard against NS.
Of course it is a UK election so none of them going to Westminster. Colin Mackay is an excellent host in my view and programme format was lot sharper than flab produced by BBC.

Oor Willie also did a good job of grilling NS on education in last nights debate, the papers have continued today...

Why would education in Scotland be an issue in an election for positions in a parliament with no say on Scottish education?

If Boris Johnson was pretty much any other Conservative in this election he would have been deselected for his past view. Parties on all sides have been deselecting candidates for less.

Scotland has embarked on a massive programme of
investment in our children and their education"

In which case, why does it mention it in it's manifesto?....

Alexander perhaps should be irrelevant. Although I suspect that isn't what you meant by the subject.

Colin Mackay answered this on radio this morning. From a UK majority point of view the Scottish Leader's Debate is as irrelevant as the Scottish vote on the EU. Yes there are campaigns (Scottish Leave) and parties (Scottish Labour etc) but as we are part of the UK then what's the point of debating 'up here'?
    From what I understand...
    1. Barnett consequentials affect the Scottish budget (which cannot be set at moment due to GE).
    2. Is important for Unionist parties to at least debate in a Scottish context. In the case of the Conservatives the creation of Holyrood gives a fair platform to their viewpoint - even though they weren't that keen on devolution let alone Indy.

I liked the exchange about Trident. (Also a reserved power).
Nicola Sturgeon to Richard Leonard (who actually came across well on some points - so many things politicians here agree on or have borrowed from each other).
NS: "Are you the only member of CND that advocates spending £200bn on nuclear weapons?"
RL: "Well... that's not strictly true. Jeremy Corbyn is also a staunch supporter of CND and him and I are at one on this!" (paraphrased from memory).

Yes the Scotch MPs will have some kind of say on the block grant if such a thing survives the forthcoming disaster.

But the reality is that England is going to elect English nationalists to govern us and it's going to be grim.
