    Happened to be out at the Airport tonight and there is again a big puddle on the Southside down slip. Noticeable that the on both sides there is a torrent of water coming down the paths from just below where there are drainage pipes from the farmer's field.

    How are they allowed to drain a field onto a tarmac space and just let someone else deal with it?

    Came this way this morning. There is quite a lot of the field on the cycle path now, it's a bit of a mess.

    @duncans

    me too. They spent a lot of time digging up and putting in pipes about 6 months ago. I hoped it was for a solution, but no such luck.

    In Freezing temperatures it is lethal.

    agree with @Hankchief that it is not good enough- even a hedgerow would absorb some of the water and shore up the soil.

    Also, the cycle path should be at-grade and along the bridge, not sent under some looping, dark, rat-infested series of underpasses, toucans and awkward turns...

    Long live the dumbbell rat
