An unusually large number of security guards were standing around in MeadowSainsburyBank this evening. I assume they're either watching out for The Infected or defending the shop against anyone trying to buy too much of any one thing at once.

    never mind the masks

our eyes are the main vulnerable ingress vector

So long as the working classes don't self isolate. When the middle classes have decided they don't fancy going into work, they'll still need bread and milk to be made and delivered, and also to be driven around by buses and trains very occasionally for pleasure.

My work just handed out a box of tissues per desk and I can't decide if it's worth winding them up or not.

Thinking of demanding a full risk assessment on the life cycle of what may become, post-sneeze, bio-hazardous material.

At present the nice Polish guy will just empty the bins as per.

Donald Trump declared live on television on Wednesday night that, as a result of a hunch, he didn’t believe the World Health Organization’s assessment of the global death rate from coronavirus of 3.4%.

“I think the 3.4% is really a false number,” he told Sean Hannity, one of his favorite conservative Fox News hosts, in a phone interview broadcast live.

“Now, this is just my hunch,” Trump began, before continuing that “based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this, because a lot of people will have this, and it’s very mild – they’ll get better very rapidly, they don’t even see a doctor, they don’t even call a doctor.”

Fraudsters have been quick to latch on to the coronavirus outbreak, with fake “Centers for Disease Control” emails and other scams already tricking the UK public out of £800,000, according to the police.

Just editing our workplace advice down from eight pages to three paragraphs.

Saw Ms Grogan in Oran Mor two weeks ago. She was great but I prefer the Stevie Wonder version.

My high heid yins have gone into full Cobra mode.

No more flights to have lunch with a prospective client.

Sure there are more virus-shields aka cars on the streets. What I gain from not being on public transport I lose in breathing the fumes.

Cockney rhyming slang for virus - "Miley".

Worth noting figures are probably a good snapshot of virus 2 or 3 weeks ago when you take into consideration incubation period, and time for testing. Will be 1000s of cases in the wild by now.

I missed (maybe luckily) a covid19 meeting today because of audio issues, but work starting to swing into action too. Been added to a number of groups today.

yet scotlands chief medical officer today insists we're still firmly in containment phase... as if that has worked anywhere else

Toilet roll panic buying in Stockbridge. Why toilet roll specifically? Do most people operate a domestic just-in-time supply chain on the bog roll front?

As discussed with a friend earlier, if a sponge on a stick was good enough for the Romans...

Ach, I was going to get bog roll on the way home. Still, newspaper was fine for my grandparents and heather for the generations before.

Excellent media analysis. Anyone else here a fan? Personally I doubt there is any other team that could deliver 25 mins of serious debate with such unfiltered knowledge and humour.

      - Covid-19 from a northern perspective.
      - Priti Patel - what the msm aren't saying.
      - Twitter - can it make money? (POTUS's favourite thing)

Stuart Cosgrove, Eamonn O'Neill and Shona Craven.

The chief medical officer is a very experienced and well regarded medic. She is offering advice based on the best available research evidence of what works, supplied by national and international experts.

If you want to see "pitiful" leadership on this issue - then you know who to listen to...
