    Is this about allowing parking where it’s not currently allowed or letting permit holders park in pay-for bays (or both?)

    That means you would need space for 16 cars outside our block!

    The 8 households in our block currently have one side of the road, with parallel parking - space for 3 cars.

    The 1200 figure is about additional parking, from what is currently yellow lines. There are also changes to bay types.

    There are lots of completely new bays in the TRO - not clear whether that number includes both.

    From looking at some of the plans and local knowledge, I don't think any of the spaces I saw are actually going to areas of genuinely high parking pressure. Really just creating more hurdles to cross for any future attempt to civilise the street.
