Not skipping, but other Covid/midlife crisis related activities.
The boy decided he wanted a skateboard, and of course so did I. I was quite good in my teens and early 20s, and therefore it stands to reason that I would still be good now nearly 30 years later.
Of course I'm not, but I only discovered that failing to do a front side kickturn at the skateboard park. Cue the heavy landing on my coccyx followed by smacking my head off the concrete ramp (luckily helmeted) resulting in a short term concussion, and it's still painful to sit now 2 months later.
Can skate again though, and luckily riding my bike isn't too sore now, but I couldn't do either for 6 weeks.
50 is when you grow up right?
