Ashton said he did not know about plans to clad the building and that he did not look at the designs as he was not specifically asked to, although the email shown to the inquiry appears to show he was asked to by the architect. It's a real problem. If you spend too long actually reading the documents the ink on your rubber stamp goes dry.
If I want work colleagues to read an attachment in an email do I now have to say The attachment in this email is one I want you to open, read and form an opinion on?
Depends whether they are used to you sending important stuff or links to YouTube cats(?)
