To be fair, Alastair Dalton has written reasonable articles (ie ones I agree with) about cycling as the best form of urban transport. And I too get annoyed with red-light running and wrong-side passing cyclists. However in the great scheme of things you should get more annoyed with structural inequalities rather than individual misbehaviour. In the case of urban transport, it's the attention and money the car conduits get at the expense of cyclists that should get your goat.

When I'm cycling on a street that has been narrowed to single track by the cars parked on it, and some guy in a van is impatient because I'm holding up him up, why doesn't he get impatient with the car storers who have narrowed the street on which we would have co-existed quite happily.
