Mneh. Although the news mention this every year I'm surprised no pubs, shops or even greetings card chainstores have boarded this bandwagon.
I get paid in the middle of the month, don't use my credit cards, didn't get festive enough over the winter feast period for there to be a comedown and was mightily pleasified by my rejuvenated gearshifting on the way in this morning, making things as semi-silently smoothyclicky as they first seemed when I first used STI levers after years of downtube-mounted friction-shifting. I must replace gear cables more often.

Really? It's been a sunny morning, it wasn't wet, I rode to work without my rubber booties on for the first time in 2 months and it was almost light when I got there. I was quite chipper about the whole scenario.
