Thorny issues revisited

    Beware the hawthorn twigs lying in wait for you in rural Midlothian just now as hedge trimming tractors spew these wooden nails across the small roads near me (Gorebridge,Carrington,Temple area)
    3 thorns right through tyre and inner tube - but no flat tyre ! I picked up a tip to put tubeless sealant in your inner tube and I can attest to the fact that it really does work- at least with relatively low pressures - around 60 psi - not sure it would with say 120 psi pressures as the rapid force of air loss might not give the sealant a chance to seal the puncture
