Tonight I was cycling along Inverleith Row to the junction with Ferry Road.
An Audi (well yes, a black one even) overtook me (safely) with a flourish that was pointless as the lights had already turned red.
I was intending to get off and push road the corner (see other threads…) because I know the lights can take ages to change.
But no, I found the Audi in the ASL quite close to the kerb, so decided to ‘stake my claim’.
SO I squeezed into the small space between kerb and the car.
Then I gestured to the driver that he was in ‘my’ space. But it was dark, inside the car too, so I wasn’t sure he’d noticed.
THEN he reversed.
Really don’t think that’s happened to me before!
