But look on the bright side, at least Boris Johnson pulled out early. If Stanley Johnson had done the same, we wouldn't be in the mess we are all in now.

Rish! Sunak and his exclamation mark of ambition will become prime minister without doing a single interview or undergoing even the most cursory public scrutiny, without anyone voting for him – not even his own party, never mind having to face the wider electorate. There is no planet on which any of this is democratic.

Had hard day yesterday - poking fun at the idiots gives me hope.
Hope Rish! ditches Alister Jack as colonial overseer for Scotland! Must do surely?!

    New budget just dropped:

28.5m reduced spend on bus replacement and active travel. No further breakdown

7.2m reduced spend on roads and taxis, largely because spending the money they have is hard due to supply chain issues.

    Priorities eh...

That's so stupid. What they are cutting is literally the very thing that can help people save money.

Tomorrow @Jeremy_Hunt is expected to launch proposals on road pricing - a new form of taxation which will overhaul fuel duty and VED. Long awaited it takes a brave govt to propose wholesale change to the way we pay for driving
