Nor is the announcement of a broken road barrier at Kirknewton in West Lothian normally seen as a small step to a state-sanctioned white supremacy.
Yet these are the issues at stake for two community councillors belonging to the nascent Homeland Party, which this year splintered from Patriotic Alternative (PA), Britain’s largest far-right white supremacist movement, led by Mark Collett, who once appeared in the Channel 4 documentary Young, Nazi and Proud.
