    Certain personality traits can predispose people to taking more risks on the road – but societal biases also prevent us recognising when our behaviour behind the wheel is becoming reckless.

    I think of this every time someone says cyclists run more red lights than drivers. Because, of course, it's ok for a driver to run if they're right behind someone who went through on yellow, or if they were turning, or if they'd had to wait a long time, or if they were going to fast to stop...
