Dear stakeholder
In January 2024, the Council agreed to establish a Transport and Local Access Forum for the City of Edinburgh. The Terms of Reference are attached.
As a representative on the previous Local Access and/or Transport and Active Travel Forums, I am writing to invite you to participate in the newly formed Forum. The intention is that the Forum will meet twice-yearly (once on Local Access and once on Transport) with the potential for further meetings if required. The Forum will be facilitated by Council officers, with the first meetings expected to be hybrid:
· Local Access – Friday the 31st of January 2pm -3:30pm; and
· Transport – TBC 2025.
A meeting invitation will follow for the Local Access Forum meeting but I would be grateful if you could please confirm if you intend to attend in-person, at Waverly Court, or if you would be joining via Teams, this is to allow us to ensure we have an appropriated size meeting room available.
