    Quick Answer:

Cycling is low-impact, joint-friendly, and one of the safest ways to stay active as you age. Most seniors don’t stop riding because they’re weak — they stop because they’re scared of falling, traffic, or getting hurt. That fear is real. And it’s fixable.

Interesting that "Betteridge's law of headlines" fails on this one.

Evry ful no that you should continue riding until you're on an e-trike, or tandem stoker, hauling yourself along with one foot, one eye, (or hand, or whatever)

The late Ron Beams was a popular contributor to Velovision magazine. He was still out cycling (last few years with electric assist) when he was 99 years old.

Not forgetting Mike Burrows (1943-2022) - he raced recliners when he wasn't designing bikes.

We have at least one customer in his 80s riding a recumbent trike but with retro e-assist fitted by Joe's Bike Garage. Linlithgow area.
