Great programme....A bit like Weirs way on two wheels.

IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.
Great programme....A bit like Weirs way on two wheels.
Should've put this in the cycling tv thread......

I love his camping stove!
recombodna - thanks for posting this. Bill Houston -(was that his name?) - my new hero. I loved his categorising of Icelandic rivers - you can wade across them if the water level comes up to just under the lad's bit.
Auchinleck where he came from had the railway station removed probably just when that film was made. It is back now. The pit is long gone. If you are not faint hearted you can still go there to watch something called Scottish Junior Football. This is not to be confused with football. For example - Auchinleck Talbot 0 Kilbirnie Ladeside 0. Still spoken of as the greatest ever match. 26 bookings, 4 red cards, 3 broken legs, 3 pitch invasions. Boswall of Johnson and Boswall fame was Lord Auchinleck
