Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

A few too many references to parking there to bring the folk in. I wasn't even aware there was any on street parking in the vicinity of Princes Street.
Mind you, as a nation we're lazy b*s who drive to the shops around the corner so perhaps mentioning people using public transport would put them off?
I can see it appealing to those who work all day and wish to get stuff after work perhaps.
I dont see much reference to getting street performers there either. There just isn't a good pitch on princess street, not for a decent size show. Silver and bucket man are the only two I see and those are walk-past shows.
@Mabs It's George Street/St Andrews Square that they always want the free parking on. Unfortunately, it's also those very streets that would benefit from being car free to create an attractive "continental" atmosphere that might encourage more people into the centre of town in the evening.
I've never quite understood why UK shops stubbornly stick to the 9-5 opening hours. Surely the majority of potential customers are at work between 9 and 5, so ain't going to be shopping. Why not open from 12 to 8, say?
