    19th – 27th June

As in previous years, any event organised in connection with Bike Week (and officially registered at http://www.bikeweek.org.uk) will be covered (FREE) by public liability insurance.

Importantly the period covered isn't just a week - it's 1st April to
    31st July.

That's FOUR months of 'Bike Week'!

(So that's ANYTHING bike related in the Easter break and summer term.)

  2. Thurs 01 April 2010 - Term ends
    Tuesday 20 April 2010 - All resume
Monday 03 May 2010 - May Day, schools closed
Monday 17 May 2010 - Victoria Day, schools closed
    Tuesday 18 May 2010 - Staff resume
    Wednesday 19 May 2010 - Staff only
    Thursday 20 May 2010 - pupils resume
    Thursday 1 July 2010 - Term ends
  3. In previous years there haven't been masses of events in Edinburgh, some that would probably have taken place anyway were publicised under the convenient Bike Week umbrella.

So it is about time Edinburgh had a mass event, something with a Scottish theme, how about Tartan and Tweed Ride...
