Cold commute today?

  1. "Large tree down and crossing Innocent Path just East of Duddingston Road W. Possible but tricky (with loaded bike) to scramble around the root end."

    A couple of people last night tried to get through/under/over before giving up and scrambling round the back (despite having seen other cyclists doing just that they still tried to get through!).

    It's always astonishing how much force they come down with - the railings underneath have been crushed quite spectacularly...

    Twitter was awash last night with pics of trees down (including mine of that very tree).

    Ah okay, that is a different tree. I am thinking of the one west of DRW. It is a path blocker but you can squeeze round. I have reported both to the cooncil.

    fallen trees on roseburn path being attended to by the council when I went clambered past at 9.15 this morning.
