I'm interested in relatively basic LED bike lights which can't be simply slid off their mount? Do they exist?

Any bike lights which are harder to steal?

TheBikeChain had pannier frame mounted rear light that was harder to remove last winter I appear to recollect

I have a racklight from TBC and quite like it. It's very bright. My front light is on my helmet. So I have no lights to remove unless I add an extra Knog front light.
Unfortunately, it doesn't mount neatly to a Blackburn rack, but otherwise quite good.

I know it doesn't really answer the spirit of your question, but easy to remove lights are easy to pop in your pocket and take with you (Knog, Stinger etc.) and don't need a fitting on the bike

Or you could probably use a two-part epoxy or something to permanently secure the light to its bracket - thus requiring tools to remove (check you can replace the batteries before gluing the light on!)
Otherwise dynamo lights are generally bolt-on, but then you need a dynamo, or good wiring skills.
