SRD we do seem to be more than one piper down at the moment. I came off on black ice on the road that follows Water of Leith round to Murrayfield Stadium last Tuesday. Not serious like some reported earlier and bike alright.
I watched lad in Bermuda Shorts take the corner (maybe he had ice tyres). I applied brakes on corner and bike went out from under me and I slid along the road. Left arm now has deep scarlet grooves and skin from elbow to wrist is green with light bruising. Curiously the Protective Quashi or kashi that I won from EBC did not tear, unlike my arm. Kids en route to Roseburn got a good show.
BTW the EBC sale is previewing on-line now. Some 75% things but better 50% items
