  1. Might be worth you checking spitters - happy to go with the longer commute if the coffee is good!

Given I live about fifty feet away, I vote yay to Zazou...

+1 on the Zazou boat - excellent coffee (real rocket fuel).

I'm already a Zazou regular and the coffee is good. I will ask him about an early open a week tomorrow.
Any idea how many people? how many do we get regular at PY? 8am ok for everyone? Or make it an afternoon thing?

I'm hardly a veteran, but there's been 8 at least at the three I've been to.

Hard to say whether people will be put off by the change of venue. PY was chosen because a fairly large number of forumers pass through or near the Meadows. For an 8am start I'd have to gulp the coffee down and leave by 8.15 latest since I will be a fair bit further away from work. So probably not worth it for me. Obviously it will be better for others.

    Hello all,
    First: what's PY?
Second, re. the new cafe: where's the cake?
Third: The onboard seating is what makes Zazou so cool!

Thanks for keeping me up to date on Edinburgh's cafes. You will probably hear more about this, but my friends are trying to spread the word about Edinburgh Community Cafes.

PY on MMW is Peter's Yard, on Middle Meadow Walk, frequently a meeting place of CCEers.

Never knew it was called Baird House.

Actually seems reasonable for central Edinburgh office space.

Presume it doesn't have planning permission for non-office.

I may be able to make Zazuo but any further out and I'll have to cancel.

I'd start a poll to gauge how many people can come but I can't see how to add one to a new thread?

"I can't see how to add one to a new thread?"

Perversely you have to post new topic then add poll!!

Mr fimm reccommends the sausage rolls from the new boat. He's very partial to a sausage roll.

Shockingly, given that we walk past Zazzo quite a lot, we've never been in...
