Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Looks great fun. Not sure I'd be able to go but will keep an eye on it.
She looks the biz on her Pashley...
is this the same edith as 'ediths daily ukelale cheildh'?
Yes, it's ukelele Eilidh.
though so, one might accuse her of fad-jumping ;)
Nice picture of her in period clothing on a traditional bicycle with hub gears and modern dynamo and German lights.
Can some kindly Scots person spell phonetically how I should pronounce Eilidh's first name please?
Dave (sassenach) C
Assume it rhymes with ceilidh so therefore sounds the same as the Marillion song Kayleigh. I've heard of people saying eelee rather than aylee or doing something somewhere in between, though they were probably bet-hedging trying not to offend.
Ukulele is properly pronounced ookoolaylay so doesn't strictly rhyme.
CAUTION: advice on pronunciation of Scottish things given by non-Scottish people should first be checked with a qualified Scottish pronunciation authority
Ah, kind of makes sense now, cheers wingpig.
