"No Cycling" signs going

    There have been all sorts of discussions about the conflict caused by 'out of date' "No Cycling" signs where pedestrians are able to assume that cyclists are breaking the law.

    Last year there was a discussion here about all the ones in The Meadows and Bruntsfield Links.

    The official line was -

    "this is with the local (South) Parks department - they have been told which to remove (presumably all)"

    (I went round and photographed them all)

    Today I finally got round to looking again. I see this one -

    several days a week, so assumed that would be quite a few still in place.

    BUT apart from this -

    NOT A TRACE!

    Well done CEC, only one to go...

    coulda saved time and effort by just burning off the "N" and adding a "K".

    Oh, you mean

    "OK CYCLING".
