We're meant to be going on holiday next week. But we don't have much petrol in the tank and we can't go by train. The Shell station here has no petrol. So I'm a bit annoyed to say the least at the government/panic buyers/human nature/Dunkirk spirited Daily Mail readers (delete as you see fit). Seems I should have joined the queue like all the others. I sometimes think car driving makes idiots of us all (car drivers that is).

Oh well, if Richard says so then it must be true, he of Virgin airlines. Flight tax has just gone up 8% - - grist to his mill I reckon. I am sure that he will come up with something to make money, he usually does, to fill his own coffers!
