Not the one I'd been setting up, but a group wide one... And I appear to be the Scotland rep... And I've offered to do the posters promoting the BUG to build on the 200 members it has got since it launched a few weeks back.
Interesting.
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Interesting.
Given the gender profile of cyclists there's surely a way to connect cycling safety and Scottish Widows?
I was speaking to one of our marketing people, who is coming to PoP, and she'd said she wished she'd heard about it earlier and they could have found out if the Widow cycled and got her along.
I'm sure she would cycle if they paid her.
what what and what?
o.O
Bicycle Users Group apparently. I have heard a rumour that my work has one too but I haven't been able to find it.
@spytfyre - I think he is referrring to the mascot of his employers. Attractive lady in a hooded velvet cape.
@Min - I assume that you know that there's a list of BUGs here: http://www.scotbug.com/buglist/list-of-scotbugs/3451/
Ah... them. No I won't join ours, not after what winpig said about it... too many elitists (being the polite way of putting it)
Greenroofer - I didn't know but I have now found my BUG, thank you!
"she wished she'd heard about it earlier and they could have found out if the Widow cycled and got her along."
So she wants to use POP to promote the Widows?
@sp*t*e* I assume that because there's the internal sportsSPORTS/social club that an independent BUG for a workplace is unlikely to get very far.
cb - It could end up being a two way thing. They have plenty of money at least and could be a possible source of sponsorship in the future. Plus someone photographable such as the Widow on a Pashley or summat could be a pretty good advert for cycling in a normal everyday huge hooded cloak. Well it is a form of chic anyway.
