It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

I've just been down that way, in the pouring rain, and it was pretty busy even then.

I have seen the Princes Street ghost town line trotted out often. I think they just copy and paste.

I'm not. Well, not in a negative sense anyway. Wasting time and energy in a negative sense would be trying to engage with them (I've learned). This is merely having a bit of fun, which might also be 'wasting time and energy' in that there's no purpose I guess, but then by that rationale going out on a five mile ride in the sun could be a waste of time and energy... :P
A five mile ride in the sun wouldn't be a waste it would be a miracle.
