Does anyone have a crank puller of an appropriate size to get the knacked crankset off my dad's new old bike?

The puller which came with my Lidl bike toolkit handily fits mine (Sora, whatever size that is) but is too wee for this one. As far as he can tell, measuring with a tape measure in a dark hallway, the hex-head retaining bolt is 14mm across and the internal/minor diameter of the dust-cap thread is "about 23mm". BG Cycles in Porty didn't have an applicable tool so it'll be a hoick to Eastside or TBW or TBS unless a kind internet person has an appropriate-sounding one I could briefly borrow...

I think the one I have is the same as yours but your welcome to try it.

  3. Not sure of the size of mine - I think I've got three, all of differing sizes! (one with an integral handle, and two for use with an adjustable spanner)

I can check sizes tonight/sort out a handover tomorrow for you to try if you want?

Cheers. I'll go and measure the target installation more accurately this evening...
