Me apparently. Riding east on the NEPN at ~08:50 someone passed going the opp way on a drop handlebar'd bike heard to say 'Dave', as I nodded at him. No idea who it was? Maybe not even here?

Does a spot have to be in person? Does it count if it's in a magazine? Several faces familiar from here appear in the Laid Back Bikes advert in the latest CTC magazine.
I had the slightly surreal experience of meeting up with SRD + Helios + coxswean last night to collect a POP T-shirt (thanks, SRD!) and then going home, opening my new CTC magazine and seeing picture of same SRD + same Helios + same coxswean (+ another coxswean) in the LBB advert.

I was indeed spotted by Bruce, I could actually see the moment that Bruce recognised the other Bruce and thought "Hey that's Bruce"

Very small though (!) i can't afford modelling fees - free bike use and an apology to anyone who appeared in the ad. In fact that's how I got some of the shots in the first place

Three Bromptons (independent of each other) getting onto the Queen St-Haymarket train at Polmont this morning, the largest number I think I've seen together in central Scotland (discounting special events). Bike racks mobbed on the train too.

Uberuce with unknown accomplice this morning heading West on Slateford Road

That would be Nelly of this parish. Our morning schedules are pretty similar these days, so our blue'n'yellow Genesis singlespeed pairing is a common sight.

Chap with a Brompton with a small suitcase bungeed onto the back rack at Haymarket this morning.
Chap on MTB type bike towing maroon-coloured child trailer along Gorgie Road yesterday afternoon.

Bike racks mobbed on the train too.
The changing room were busy by usual standards this morning too. From never normally having to share the space with any other women (one at most depending on how many times I've hit snooze on my alarm that morning), I was sharing with two others this morning.
Probably a mix of my being fifteen minutes later than usual today, an extra fifteen minutes doing my hair and the promise of a warm, sunny day.
Interestingly enough though, the bike racks seemed emptier than usual for that time on a Friday morning.

That reminds me, I saw three sky blue Charge Plugs going up Comiston Road on Wednesday in the space of a few minutes.

Group of cyclists apparently out for a club run in Livingston Friday lunchtime.

chdot, at the junction a little way down from the Bike Station. I was disguised as a roadie and didn't think shouting over was a great idea, given you were crossing it at the time.

Yesterday, from the vantage point of shoes (not tyres) I spotted Ruggtomcat on the Meadows and later on Zenfroszt on East London Street.

Arellcat on Brompton at Fairmilehead heading south yesterday at 4pm as I was heading back into town.

Usual cyclist cycling to work this morning, only he was cycling the other way???
On catching him, as we were stopped to fix my buddies moving seat, he explained that he had a new job in Edinburgh and lived in SQ. We used to see him on the bridge heading to Fife.
It was quite funny when he cycled past us, me and my buddy exchanged a certain look and when I said 'Doesn't he normally go the other way?', my mate agreed and said he was thinking exactly the same thing. :D

I could never ride that Lurvly fixed above as I'd be constantly falling off as I tried to rest my hands on the hoods, which aren't there. :D

@LaidBack, sorry I didn't reciprocally spot you. Obviously recumbents are ubiquitous these days!
I was on my way to photograph the last of the Fairmile Inn before it was reduced entirely to rubble.

Not a CCE spot, or any spot at all really, but I hooked up with eight Harley riders in Bruntsfield this evening whilst velomobiling home. The lead rider asked me, at Holy Corner, "Which way is south?" "That way!" I said, pointing at the ski slope. At Morningside clock I branched off left and received eight friendly waves and thumbs-up. After winching my way up the Braids I passed them while they filled up at Greenbank, and I headed onwards to the Fairmile Inn to see if anything was left today.
After talking to the excavator driver for ten minutes I started for home, and en route met the Harley riders again who obviously weren't in that much of a hurry (or were bad at reading maps) as they studied their itinerary and dripped petrol onto the floor. "Is that meant to do that?" I asked the lead rider, as I sniffed a fingertipful. Two others asked enthusiastically about my own bike, which was altogether more environmentally friendly by not dripping petrol.
It turned out they were from Poland, and were doing the North Sea route, and "south" meant London and Folkestone, followed by France and Holland and back to Poland. I gave them all a big wave as they set off for the nearby pub and beer, and I set off home to wash my fingers.

Pretty sure I Spotted that lurvly fixed above, going down Comiston Road. The rider didn't look hugely comfortable gripping the bare metal tops in order to use the brake.

Arellcat - they must have guessed you are also a motorbiker! Nice story.

Woman and child on a tagalong along Melville drive around 10:15am - I ended up behind them heading for Arthurs Seat direction and I couldn't help but notice them getting a wider berth from traffic than me! To be fair the general standard of driving was pretty good and I didn't have any outrageous passes. The sight of the child at the back definitely caused people to be more cautious.
Also passed a woman on a trike on the canal towpath just before Harrison Park, her heading into town.

2nd hand Spot: mailoton of couriers in sombreros and fake moustaches in the Golden Rule. I would hazard a guess it was related to the charity Alley Cat I read about on EFG recently.

Interesting, I wonder if I put the child seat of the bike and a life like child dummy, I'd have the same affect on cars passing by?
