It's not like there's not a huge amount of otherwise vacant grass a few feet away! Or they could push them onto the other side of the bollards - someone can still park there, just a few feet less close to the bollards...

Or maybe I could shove them? Wonder how heavy they are...

If I'm not mistaken, there's a few of us with weight/powerlifting backgrounds? Challenge accepted?

I spotted the superduper Urban Arrow electric cargo monster bike at Cameron Toll today. Lots of people were stopping to look at it as they walked past.

I had a chat with the owner when locking up the Pino beside it last week too.

Supplied by a local emporium of fine velocipedes...

LaidBack on his paper bike on Marchmont Crescent - presumably just after the bad boy incident...

I spotted a car with one of those LED tyre valve cap lights on one wheel. Very eye catching due to the combination of it being low down and spinning very quick. The first sign that motorists are joining the visibility war?

More likely that's less effort for them than using side-lights in dim conditions and their indicators at any given time.

The car light wars started ages ago. You only have to look at the dazzling banks of lights both fore and aft on some models. And that is not even counting the ones with irritating LED light displays all round the back window and front bonnet as if designed by someone with even less taste than Tron Guy.

indeed - also there are many cars using HID bulbs without the requisite mirrors and casings meaning the very bright light is dangerously undirected (not to mention illegal)

I think it was yesterday evening, around 17:30, a lady on a bike pulling a child trailer thingy, outside the East Craigs medical centre / dentist, next to the East Craigs church centre.

@ruggtomcat - spotted your bent the other week at your usual performance spot on royal mile but no sign of you.

Pedersen going along Morrison Street this evening.

    Certainly a distinctive steed.

Reasonably sure HankChief plus kids just cycled past me outside Craigmount HS, while I was waiting with youngest daughter to cross to the other side of Craigs Road.

    Aye, that was me.

One these days we'll have to meet, but would rather spoil the fun of stalking spotting each other...

Double-occupant recumbent along Porty prom this morning. Also a giraffe playing a drum, but nit on a bike.

Not us at Porty. We were out on a similar bike other side of town at Craigie's Farm.

No giraffe sightings out that way! We did go past a pristine Pashley heading back up from Davidson's Mains. Commented 'nice bike' and the female occupant told us that it hardly got used. Tyres were still cream. Anyway good to see it getting used.

The Urban Arrow 2-pointing on the Innocent. Took a little while to achieve this manoeuvre on such a long bike!

Arellcat trundling up Longstone Road, it must be all the carbon but it was a strangely quite type of noisy as you passed.

Spotted a Helios tandem this evening, heading along Gray's Loan. I think I was recognised, but was too busy adjusting the headlight aim, checking the computer and my satellite navigation system to find the 'auto wave' button.

In truth, the closely fitting spraydeck makes it almost impossible to wave to anyone.

Wednesday spotted Morningsider on foot on MMW - despite having the Pino (yes, I'm still maintenance-challenged!), I was heading the opposite direction.

Then WC last night, haring purposefully across the Buccleuch Street/Melville Drive junction.

Clearly if I leave work at just the right time, there's plenty of spotting potential!

twinspark + young companion on bike with snazzy white tyres heading out of Morningside Park this morning.

We exchanged nods. Twinspark's bike looked very shiny and seemed to have hub gears. New toy?

young family - two kids on small bikes riding with Mum and one on the back of Dad's bike at the top of the Queen's Drive on Saturday 4ish. Was very impressed with the effort - especially into a nasty headwind at the top. I said hello as I passed with disgruntled weeride passenger.
