Was that taken at the minute's silence for Zhi Min Soh? He just happened to be working at that corner at the moment when hundreds of other cyclists materialised. Stopped his work until it was over and joined in.

Three pinarellos atop a jaguar, Southwold pier. As likely to be monosyllabic Lycra iron men as rolly poly cheery blokes who skipped entry level as loaded.

"Three pinarellos atop a jaguar" sounds like a setup for a joke.

A Tour de France commissaire
Queried three bikes on a Jaguar,
"Sont-ils Pinarellos?"
"Oui! Aimes-vous nos velos?
Nous prétendons être l'Equipe Movistar!"Posted 7 years ago # -
Takes way more than three flash bikes and a Jag to appear loaded in Southwold. Maybe refugees from the Dunwuch Dynamo ride.
@gembo - Been to Suzies for a crab sandwich yet?

Family of four cycling up to Dunsapie Loch in Holyrood Park last Sunday.
Thought they were moving a bit quickly and sure enough all of their bikes were Volt electrics.
Think they are hired from stand beside Hemma. From £10 - didn't get company name.Posted 7 years ago # -

Alan Sugar's day ride support car?

The other day I happened to glance out the window at London Road and saw a pair of elephant bikes heading down towards Meadowbank. One mint green, one pale blue, one with the plastic tray, one without. So that's at least another 2 in the Edinburgh pachyderm herd.

@crowriver in Southwold so jags not rare nor Chelsea tractors, plenty normal bikes and plenty high end. The jag with the three pnarellos could just be a dentist with no desire to buy an entry lev bike.
Last night we took or bangers on NCN31 to Beccles through countryside with nothing in it safe barley and some housing. We made it to Beccles at a fair clip surprising some roadies then rolled back down the hill, lovely night.
Was a lovely. Ride, I have done before. Bought some dark horse marmalade from outside a house (finely treacled). Bought this before and was Braw. We left the enormous marrow until we came back due to having one pannier. However, I think it had been taken inside by the time we returned.
One hexagonal church, one very old Norman church, one combine harvester who took no prisoners and we had to reverse back up to the kirk. He gave a friendly wave.
On wildlife in addition to the cute little term and the massive marsh harriers, of note, stoat, water vole, muntjac deer, egrets a plenty..
They are trying to rebuild the branchline from Southwold to halewood. In very early stages,
Of construction. Maybe about same as segregate bike track in Edinburgh. They have a caboose, a goods van, and Monday we watched them crane a very dilapidated steam engine into the yard. So might be there in fifty years. The co-op give one per cent t them for each member who has nominated them as a charity. We also tried to recycle glass which the council declines to do. So we cycled down with the bottles to the town tip which we used before but it was shut (October 2013). Near there I spotted a garage. We cycled in to ask for directions to a recycling place. When there we admired a 1937 Morris with only one owner and 80000 miles. Raised a laugh with the mechanics when I suggested the car was in better Nick than the engine up the path.

July 11th 2017 will be a day to remember in the history of the Trust. On the previous evening, Peckett 0-6-0ST “Scaldwell” of 1913 had arrived on a Milner low-loader from Amberley Museum.

wingpig - looks like down south. Retro look appeals to brexiters I'm sure!
Spotted Uberuce this week. On way to EBC to buy new tyres for a new bike. CdF replacement maybe.
Just had simul-spot of SRD peleton moving east on Dundee St.Posted 7 years ago # -
Down south and very much in high-proportion pro-Brexit land, which keeps electing an endless string of Tory MPs (and a brief UKIP MEP until the constituencies were rearranged). The building behind the pretend old-fangled cyclopolis is an actual village conservative club.
