we've got the POP manifesto (which is based on the #cyclesafe one but much stronger). Just need some political will now!

Yes well, not much sign of that at Government level (Westminster or Holyrood).
In Edinburgh there is a real possibility of something significant (in a 'good example' sense) being done with Leith Walk. There is genuinely a lot of local support for something more pedestrian (and cycle) friendly.

Just emailed my MSPs, and the transport, health and environment bods.
What with the Committee above saying that robust political leadership was required and criticising the buck passing (my inference), I thought Holyrood could do with a bit of a poke too - they've also passed the buck down to the locals...
Oh, and the Lancet and environment reports just show why we need everyday cycling, so they'd better engineer for cycling as subjectively safe transport!
