I was unfairly critical - having actually picked the parcel up last night the full address was 'Home, Flat 0/2, Glasgow'.

Sadly, I also have to report that I'm one of many where the left hand side of the screen is lifting away from the body. Feels awfully like ASUS were hammered to try and get these out of the door, and didn't check the quality on the way out. Currently waiting on Google's customer support to get back to me, who are apparently swamped at the moment.

Not the most glorious start to Google's foray into product shipping.

    Apart from that, it's great!

Not to be confused with -

Presumably Shimano didn't think anyone would be confused enough to have any chance of suing and winning -

    Unlike Apple, Google, Samsung etc!!

I doubt that they could sue as the copyright will be held in different categories.

The smartphone/tablet battles are all patent related (and extremely tedious).

Interesting pair of reviews. For my purposes (primarily as a note taking and reading device), it's pretty much spot on. Aspect ratio being tall and thin means that it just about fits into a trouser pocket. Not hugely comfortably, but well enough so I can also carry a mug and open doors with the other hand whilst moving around the office. Swiftkey as a keyboard negately the slightly tricky typing with it's magical auto-correct.

It's definitely different to the iPad. From refusing to believe that there was a function to tablets a year ago, I now reckon there's two classes of tablet, with the larger size starting to squeeze into the laptop market. In the smaller size band, I can't think of anything that beats the nexus.

Then again, I'd maybe wait until they sort the quality control out...

True - though there have been trademark/domain name conflicts - not least 'ownership' of "iPad" name in China.
