    Just heard about this on Twitter, Jan Moir has been at it again. Take one of the best female cyclists of all time, and say this:

    "We got our first medal, courtesy of cyclist Lizzie Armitstead. What an utter darling. According to commentators, she had ‘fresh legs in good shape’, which she used to batter heroically through a torrential rainstorm, only to come second to some bitch from Holland. Never mind, after the 80-mile race Lizzie emerged without a speck of mud on her flawless complexion, manicure perfect, looking ready for her close-up"

    This after the weekend when they didn't even bother trying to cover-up any bubbling racism in an article about the opening ceremony and bemoaning the use of ethnic minorities, and referring to countries as 'banana republics'.

    (deliberately not linked ot the article - it gets the Daily Wail hits and therefrom advertising revenue).

    Did anyone else spot that the mode type of child carrying the petal bits of the flame at the opening ceremony was long curly haired girls with red hair? This is an over representation of ginger which I thought was good but I am left wing. I am surprised the daily mail has not commented

    What a stupid, stupid shallow woman.
    Is there an easy (ideally public so the opposing meedja get hold of it) way to complain to the authorities about racism/offensive language in the press?

    As to the opening ceremony, didn't some bigoted halfwit of a politician have a go on twitter about it being left wing pc gone mad? Clearly cut from the same (second rate) cloth as Ms B***h quoted above. I mean IK Brunel, he was practically a communist wasn't he? (sigh)

    Oh the Mail loves that sort of thing. How can it be possible for a woman to go cycling in the rain and still look pretty when the writer broke a nail on her car keys just this morning? This is the sort of thing the Modern Woman Needs to Know.

    This is from the paper that brought us the shocking article on how Sinead O'Connor looks twenty years older than she did twenty years ago after all.
