I was having a tidy up and came across my copy of How Close is Too Close?, which was from MAG UK.

Having had a wee read through it again, I thought I would post it here. It talks at length about visual acuity by the human brain and some good reasons why sometimes we see things but don't process them, and how we (that is, cyclists as much as motorcyclists) could adjust our riding and collision avoidance techniques to help us 'pop out' from the general background.

It actually ties in with my preference for slabs of colour, rather than a bitty approach of stripes and slashes and dots of reflectives, and why flashing bicycle lights are a good thing.

"and why flashing bicycle lights are a good thing."

I think I agree too - but is there more in the article that is 'specific'?
