IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

It's funny how different times of the day can have a different set of inconsiderate road users blocking up the cycle lane.
The Bonaly Dairy parking barely bothers me, I rarely see them, but the chemist who lets their vans park at the junction on double yellow + double pavement marks, the Chinese supermarket with their (Often) 3 or 4 cars and van who often block at 3-5pm, DESPITE THE PARKING SPACES 10 M BEHIND THEM BEING EMPTY.
And the key cutter, who parks in the bike lane , 5m from the junction on the other side of the road, first thing in the morning, DESPITE THE PARKING SPACES 10 M BEHIND THEM BEING EMPTY.
I guess what I am saying, is, it is all of them! Cyclists use the road all the time and drivers (and businesses) don't seem to give one tiny fig.
Good post, Dave. Pretty much sums up the situation and posits the most obvious, easiest and cheapest solution that has been staring CEC in the face all along...
Great video Dave, really shows up the lack of quality. The stopping and starting in the face of vehicles whizzing past all those parked cars also shows how much harder things are for the less steely of thigh ie probably anyone who hasn't already been cycling for years.
I've now written to them about this too.
