IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

If you've seen the standard of road use by people in Dublin, you'd wonder how anyone gets out of there alive! My most recent visit was at the beginning of November and my girlfriend and I both agreed we'd never seen so many pedestrians, cyclist and motorists flouting the law and ignoring "common" sense (an oxymoron if ever there was one).
With or without engines, people were going through red lights, running across busy road, parking where it was prohibited... it was a miracle that we didn't see anyone hospitalised over that weekend.
@Focus, so it's a bit like Leith then? It's all relative though. Clearly you've never travelled in south east Europe. Ireland is like a Scandinavian beacon of polite rule following in comparison.
Even worse than Leith! :-) No, I haven't been in SE Europe but then we of the British Isles like to kid ourselves we are more civilised and developed than our Easter European neighbours, so we ought to be better behaved. Well, it's a nice theory...
