Wonder if that is true and how you would actually measure it?

He* didn't really justify that claim; I doubt Edinburgg is much worse/better than any other similar sized city.
I like the commentator who said of taxis:
"I've no particular problem with taxi drivers, though. They often cut things fine, but they know what they are doing and have their mind on the job."
That's OK then.
*Was going to describe him (like the EEN did) as the 'website creator' but I don't think setting up a Facebook site counts.

Vic Reeves said 88.2% of statistics are made up on the spot.
That rises to 100% in EEN stories

To be fair to him, the taxi company representative does note that drivers should be mindful of cyclists at one point.
However, I can't see the headline claim the Edinburgh has the worst drivers anywhere in the article.

First line!
THE creator of a new website that shames badly-behaved Edinburgh motorists has claimed the Capital has the worst drivers in Britain.
Personally I have not cycled everywhere in Britain but having cycled in a lot of places I can say that IMO Edinburgh has worse drivers than anywhere else I have been. On the other hand, I think it has more good drivers but they are sadly outnumbered.

I like the fact that the IAM motormouth is so quick to blame the trams!
I agree about black cab drivers though. I think a lot of them are very good. Some are psychopaths who shouldn't even be entrusted with a television licence, never mind a driving licence and certainly never mind a cab licence but thankfully they are in a minority.

Aberdeen's drivers are mental.
Apparently there's a link to a YouTube video of mine in the comments...

Oh, and the IAM motormouth is the same guy who used to tweet for the AA - he always came out with utterly barmy things, and has been quoted by EEN before with tram stuff. The IAM probably fits his metier a bit more - in time he'll finally graduate to SafeSpeed.
