after broken ankle stuff, am about to head out for a bit on my bike, first for over 4 months ! Ive beeen about the street to make sure i dont actually fall off, but its a big (and heavilly anticipated step !) for me. Prob wont last longer than about an hour, but hey, its a restart !And its wet ! ish ! let you know how I fare !

Hope you've fitted your snow tyres ready for the "beast from the East"! Or as we know it outside the chipwrapper hyperbole "a wee bit parky and maybe some more rain" ;-)

    Enjoy it mate! :-)

well, that was ablast !Incredibly i actually felt more fit than previous ! Perhaps the physio and other excersises obviously kept me ticking along !Brakes all still worked, chain wasnt leaping about, and the gewars changed ! I had spent some time cleaning though . Varied short route, off road and on, hills and canal.Big potholes need a bit of care if am out of the saddle and on the pedals ! SORE ! That aside, am back ! ears are frozen but will be back commuting midweek, am back at work Monday, will use the car first , in case i do something stupid !(possible !)
Was on the public highway for about 2 miles and still managed to find a white van loony ! oh well !

sorry I havnt been on too much lately, back at work and thinking that I am invincible again................
not recomended ! been busy, but bike has been out and about, mostly with my teenage son , who said something great the other day, his friends who live close by are nice enough, but a bit,"geeky" and not really outdoor types. Obviously I cant be with him ALL the time, and he announced that if his friends wernt up for it then he would continue his cycling and his kayaking on his own ! Maybe a wee bit more paddling before I would let him off on his own , but felt great knowing he was about to hopefully experience some of the great stuff that we can get on our own !
