A lot of people on here haven't quite got used to the idea of £1,000 bikes!
'You could buy a big house for that.'

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Putting a £500k watch in a display case that is either smashable with an axe or accessible under single key control is security of the lowest and a very amateur order. I'd be surprised if the insurance pay out fully on it. In comparison, there was a bank robbery earlier in the year at the Natwest on George Street, and the sum of money stolen was in the order of £3,000.
That's my professional opinion anyway.
Having read the article, they don't actually know if the watch has been stolen or not yet. This is the EEN remember! ;-)
according to BBC the £500k watch was not in the store at the time of the robbery, but some £100k watches were. Same applied for those when it comes to securing the things though.
Two of the three who have been nicked for it were called Aldaire and Lincoln. Same surname, so one assume brothers, but what fantastic names.
"fantastic names"
Makes them easier to Google...
Aldaire and Lincoln SameSurname are also the same age. Maybe twins? If identical they could try it wasn't me it was him defence, assuming they go to trial etc, make a plea etc
