    He's riding fixed too I note. Looks more like light artillery to me, possibly an anti-tank gun? Perfect for taking out Trinity tractors.

    The hitch would appear to be attached to the soldier's belt!

    You can make acetone for cordite by fermentation of conkers, so it should be organic and vegan!

    One of its inventors was Sir James Dewar of Kincardine.

    Correct, it is a Swiss anti-tank rifle. Will go straight through the engine block of a Grange Rover

    I think that's an optical illusion. He's wearing some kind of tubular holster/carrier, could be for an armour-piercing shell, or maybe a flask of artisan espresso, ready for sipping at a strategic posing point? As for the hitch, I think attached to the seat stays or seat post.
