Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

I presume that is here?
They were putting new tarmac down on one side of the rough carpark at the running track end on Saturday - I assume they're working on the whole of the "straight through" path from there to the skate park. I run through there quite often, I'll report back.
If thats the section on the SE side of the park then good its been rough for a while. Perhaps we can get them to lay new stuff down nect to Murrayfield also?
From the White House at the far end of one of the pictures that is the section running from the traffic lights up from Balgreen library through to the back of fords road where the footbridge mis. Looks good, shame I don't work there no more.
Less progress on ravelrig hill which has had lovely Tarmac put down at the top but nothing further down where it is needed at bottom of hill on the bends. The weather has been bad but Tarmac is being laid on the Lanark road west. I see it could be a tricky spot, blind corner etc events lay the Tarmac and quite narrow.
Sorry, it was getting dark when I took those. Nice new bit of tarmac. I can't think what was there before... I assume the same rough surface as remains in the rest of the car parking area. So I guess you do actually have a smooth run through between the two roads, although with a nice metal slalom (visible in photo 3 above).
I've messed the naming up slightly - photos 1 and 3 were taken from the same spot looking in opposite directions, and photo 2 is a reverse of photo 1. Uploaded from the phone in too much of a hurry I think.
I checked this out today. It was really rough and potholed before.
"It was really rough and potholed before"
It certainly was!
Added nice bit of verge + fence to keep parked cars further away.
