A new website for reporting near misses has been launched with the imaginative name Collideoscope. Only five incidents have been reported in Edinburgh so far, I am sure this forum could easily provide that number per day. Apparently the data will be used to inform policy, planning, and fill in the gaps left by STATS19 reporting. So lets get on and tell them what it really like out on the roads.

I had a go at adding one but it never sent me the confirmation email so it hasn't appeared.

Recently I wondered if such a website might be useful, however I'd forgotten or overlooked this...

In any case, it now seems to have had recent Edinburgh updates, so may be worth retrying in conjunction with the Rubbish Driving thread.

Your thread was a bit more general - "assorted threatening, stupid or just generally unpleasant vehicle operation" sort of thing rather than "near misses", classified thus:

    How severe was the incident?
No injuries – but it was close!
    Just bruises and scrapes
Serious – broken bones, hospital trips
There were one or more fatalities
