    Will they drop their restrictions of preventing membership of anyone whose glance has ever grazed the social media content of another political party? Perhaps remove the platform from which Kezia and previously Jim have put people off and re-model Scottish Labour as the Scottish Jeremy Corbyn Appreciation Society, inverting what the Ruth Davidson Party of Scotland has done to attempt to distance itself from Westminster?

    @wingpig - good strategy

    They let me in? Though maybe I left a big enough gap? Here is my history

    1983 Labour Party - 1 day (given row by Wendy Alexander, resigned)
    Socilaist Worker Student Society - 1983-86?
    Usual demos as non-aligned Trot friend of Socialist Organiser etc until about 1998. Sell out father of three until about 2014. Labour party member 2015 onwards.

    I loved Michael Foot, Smart 'Donkey Jacket' at Cenotaph, buy you a pint in pub in Plymouth. Not so keen on any of the next leaders of Labour (though soft spot for John Smith) but now JC what a guy. I must like my labour leaders to be left wing? This time maybe JC can persuade the youth?
