Idyllic, idealistic. I can remember a time when the car was not god, and roads were much safer. Perhaps in my twilight years, if I last 'til 2040 and I have not died of some sort of pollution related disease, and can still get on a bike, I too will be pedalling along. The pollution really is appalling, whether it be noise, light or combustion engine generated and I would have thought a contributory factor to a great many deaths, let alone actually being run over!! If this promotion holds true then there is something to look forward to, and maybe cyclists will also not be considered weird, that will be an improvement.
