The Scottish transport sector has failed to take significant action to tackle climate change, and has recently become the single largest source of carbon emissions.

Hmm, if only there was some way to do something about this.

This stuff is all very well, but unless the gradient of this curve changes sign it's a waste of time.

Moving travel from high-fuel modes to high-concrete modes might help, but unless the whole world agrees to leave hydrocarbons in the ground......

Is there any useful information there? Rails market share has risen but there is no mention of a fall in trips so I have to assume.e that these are new journeys. While they might have saved emissions over air they have generated emissions over not traveling.

The claimed savings are also not said to be annual so presumably the 300k tonnes of CO2 savings are for the whole 10 years.
