    If Brexit makes air travel more expensive then it could have a green side-effect. Edinburgh Airport should then stop expanding much past 15 million passengers. Small beer to growth in India and elsewhere though.

    Interestingly(!) the growth in Edinburgh is now two years ahead of schedule as the 13 million figure was target for 2020. If only other forms of public transport could perform like that (joke).

    From Malthus to the Millennium Bug, apocalyptic thinking has a poor track record. But when it issues from Hillman, it may be worth paying attention.

    Didn’t realise he was still alive!

    He talked sense in the past, I’m sure he still does.

    Nice piece by Mike Small. Just missing from the manifesto - you will write excellent satirical pieces for a magazine that has a low circulation and a little higher readership. But this won't make you feel any better.
