    Somewhat throwaway comment in a curious piece.

    Does the writer mean if you are clipped into the pedals? Or maybe climbing a hill??

    Still journalists skill is to churn out grammatically correct columns on anything and everything

    The other day Suzanne Moore made a column out of transcribing Dr John Cooper Clarke’s great appearance on Desert Island Discs. She did add that Dr JCC told her Nico used to sing or hoover along to the Shake and Vac advert. [adopt heavy Germanic accents and sing speak ponderously Do. The. Shake. And. Vac. And. Put. The. Freshness. Back]
