BJ continues in his turbocharged, unleased 'Top Gear' mode by flying round important places for photo ops. A whole plane - no climate emergency for him!
Think he scurried into the regions of England and the nation of Wales.
He boosted the Tory vote in Scotland no doubt by staying away. He's been here anyway for a few hours somewhere over last few weeks. Think Jeremy Corbyn was here today for an hour or two.
Nicola Sturgeon was in Jo Swinson's seat - people there don't see much of Jo these days as she was in South of England.

Don't know if this should be here or in "Spotted" or "More of us", but on leaving the Polling Station this morning with the Brompton, wearing a red jacket, I spotted somebody else pulling up, on a Brompton also dressed in red!........

I've never been scared by an election before but I'm frightened of this one.

Good luck everybody. Just off to put my vote in the bin as ever.

Brisk turnout at my polling place this morning at 8am. Queues to get ballot papers!
    Plenty of younger folk voting.

Whether this is indicative of higher than average turnout I don't know. Also younger is always relative, I suppose I'm now edging into the older voter category, slowly but surely.

@twinspark, maybe they have a big mirror at your polling station?

My pal trev voted then chummed me into town. He pointed out a yellow mini that overtook him in currie. trev then voted and caught up with it.

Guy in front of Trev asked them to check again as his name not on the electoral roll.

Had he thought he could have said, oh sorry, I forgot my name has changed I am Mr X of Currie (X being a neighbour's name)

also Please vote Sophie banner appears to have blown away/been sabotaged/moved elsewhere

All the lovely bits of England that I love to visit will be tarnished for me after tomorrow.

Has been a slow burn in my mind about les rosbifs running their shops

please don't misunderstand, I will still go, plus Scots were most rapacious in defending the empire et cetera

Small queue at one of the 3 desks where you pick up ballot papers in Portobello this morning (around 7.15am).

The other 2 desks had very bored looking Poll Station admin folk. A bit early in the day to be bored, but can't imagine things getting any more exciting for them tbf

No more than a steady trickle in East Craigs at 8. Councillor Aldridge was the only one outside, although it was a good 10 minutes later that I managed to place his face. LD seem to be the only party interested this time round but after their shenanigans in Holyrood they joined the tories in my No bundle.

How do voters respond to that, especially those who have done least well out of the past decade? They tune out. Earlier this year I went door-knocking round a Northumberland housing estate with Jamie Driscoll, Labour North of Tyne mayor, and in what is called Labour’s heartland the most common response was: “I don’t follow politics”, followed by the slamming of a door. One canvasser remarked: “Policy doesn’t matter here. They’ve forgotten what government can do.” If there’s one statement Labour should take to heart after this election, it’s that.

Got jumped on by a swarm of #cybernats on Twitter. All good fun, but a lot of them don't seem to understand...

    1. What Anti-Semitism, or racism is.
    2. What a tactical vote is
    3. The difference between the Tory, and Labour party

"It showed that an unforeseen wave of Scottish Nationalism was once again sweeping our country."

Well it wasn't unforeseen. When BJ, Murdo Fraser, Farmer Jack and the old men Tory hoards tell voters in Scotland before an election that they will ignore their votes unless they 'lend' their votes to a party last popular in 1955, they were bound to respond.

Even the BBC has released a vox pop that sounds accurate. Had to double check it was real. Think it is?

The belief that Scotland should govern itself is endemic now. Not everyone thinks in terms of independence but most people think of Scotland as a nation.

Read this and it's obvious that even Daily Telegraph journalists agree.

    @iwrats, like a lampoon?

From prime minister to dole queue in 4 weeks?

Apparently duties as party leader meant neglecting the constituents?
