It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Tom Morton has just recounted a listener's tale of being barged off a path (probably not Edinburgh) into the nettles by a man with two dogs.
What is the world coming to? First it's cyclists on pavements now it's men with dogs.
(The fact that was only one man in an isolated incident doesn't matter. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE.)
There was a man with four dogs on the WoL just by the St. Mark's turn-off yesterday evening. Two on leads, two not, not paying attention to anything he said and wandering all over the path, at times changing course to always be in my path. He evidently realised the usefulness of leads as he was using two, so if he thought a step further he might have worked out that if he'd had two more leads he'd have had four dogs under a semblance of control.
Or, if the dogs were strong enough, two fewer arms.

So it's escalated already.
This is serious, an epidemic.

Yes these dog walking louts have had free run of our paths for too long and I for one am sick of it. !!!!! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE!!
I'm a 4x4 driving, cyclist, dog owner - does that make me the worst person on earth by Local paper standards ?
